What is a CNC Router?
A CNC Router is a computer numerical control router which is a computer-controlled cutting machine. It's similar to the hand-held router used for cutting various hard materials but instead the computer is doing the cuts.
What type of router do we have in the Innovation Center?
In the Innovation Center, we use the Forest Scientific HS CNC Router HS48X48.
What is one thing I learned about the router?
One thing I learned about the router was that it is the same concept of a hand-held router, but instead a CNC router has a computer controlling the router.
If I could make anything with the router, what would I make?
If I could make anything with the router, I would make this united states shape with the american flag design on it. I saw this when I was looking at different projects and it looks really cool. I would put this in my cabin in Minocqua because it has a rustic aspect since its made of wood; it would go well with my cabin because the interior is mostly wooden materials of different stain colors.

Summarizing my learning:
After learning about the CNC router, now, I know that the CNC router is more precise and efficient than a hand-held router. If you ever need to produce identical parts, the CNC router can produce the identical computer programmed design on all of the parts.
