Vinyl Project: Decal
Using Adobe Illustrator, I copied an image off of the internet of a simple citrus fruit. Next, Image traced it and created outlines so that the vinyl cutter would know where to cut. Then, I changed the colors of each of the fruits to represent a lime, orange, lemon, and grapefruit. Because I knew we needed to have three overlapping colors. I added circles that were slightly bigger so that it would look like it had a black outline. I also put white circles the same size of the the citrus fruit so that there would be the white part around the slices. In the photo above, there are the different pieces of my decal.

What I Learned...
After designing my decal, I learned/remembered different features of Illustrator. I had to refresh my brain with how to Image Trace photos off the internet. I also learned that it is fun to create your own personalized decal because you can make whatever you want. I hope I will eventually get to put my decal on my water bottle because I am excited to see the final product!
